New Company TERACAI Launched To Meet Cisco® Customers' Growing Needs
Syracuse, N.Y. — On April 6, CXtec launched a sister company called TERACAI. Both CXtec and TERACAI are separate corporations within the CX Companies organization. TERACAI will focus on providing Cisco® advanced technology solutions for its customers in the most cost-effective manner. "During the past ten years, CXtec has built a strong working relationship with Cisco," said Barbara Ashkin, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the CX Companies. "A short time ago, we formed a separate Cisco division within CXtec. Now, the growth from that division has led us to launch TERACAI, a new company dedicated exclusively to delivering our knowledge and expertise of authorized Cisco advanced technology to our Cisco customers, and allowing us to better address their specific needs by offering a more comprehensive Cisco solution."
The name TERACAI results from a creative blending of two words, "terabit" and "acai." Terabit reflects the company's emphasis on emerging, fast-moving technologies. But acai comes from the acai berry, a fruit commonly referred to as the "healthiest fruit in the world" due to its super anti-oxidizing agents. The word acai also provides an acronym that promotes the value proposition of "Authorized Cisco Advanced Infrastructures." TERACAI solutions will be built around authorized Cisco products (both new and Cisco Certified Refurbished Equipment), as well as advanced technology infrastructure products.
According to David Parks, Director of Sales, TERACAI customers will be able to benefit from the company's Cisco Silver Partner relationship, but the potential for additional Cisco solutions will be much greater. "Our customers will continue to rely on our same first-class team of employees who have achieved Cisco's ‘Customer Satisfaction Excellence' designation since the program began in 2006," said Parks.
