TERACAIĀ® receives ISO 9001:2008 certification TERACAIĀ®, a Cisco Silver Partner that provides leading-edge Cisco networking technology and RecertPlus authorized refurbished solutions, has successfully completed a certification audit by ABS Quality Evaluations, certifying that the company's Quality Management System is in conformity with the ISO 9001:2008 standard. ISO certification is a globally accepted standard for providing assurance about the quality of goods and services in supplier-customer relations. The standards of the ISO 9000 series are guided by eight quality management principles including customer focus, leadership, involvement of people, process approach, system approach to management, continual improvement, factual approach to decision making and mutually beneficial supplier relationships. "Achieving ISO certification within five and a half months after the launch of TERACAI demonstrates a strong commitment to our customers and to only delivering the best services and products available," said Pete Belyea, vice president of TERACAI. "Since day one, TERACAI has been customer focused with an ongoing commitment to quality." In April 2009, TERACAI began the ISO certification process by implementing a quality management system. The company also established the following quality policy: "TERACAI is committed to providing our customers with value-added technology products and services while continually improving our people and processes." The policy is on display at TERACAI headquarters as a reminder to employees and customers. "TERACAI management clearly demonstrated their support for the quality management system through their involvement with all stages of the audit," said Lead Auditor Rod Goult, who performed the audit on behalf of ABS Quality Evaluations. "The level of commitment to TERACAI's customers is almost palpable across the entire organization. Few companies achieve certification with no findings. TERACAI deserves to be proud of its achievement." To maintain its ISO certification, TERACAI will be required to participate in annual surveillance audits to ensure ongoing conformity with the standard and its own documented processes. -- end --
