The Syracuse-based company that helps build technology infrastructures for businesses was one of three companies to receive the Healthy Workplace Award on Thursday. Kelly Parker of TERACAI said the business has focused specifically on LaPage’s fourth tip.
“We really look for input from our employees in what they’re interested in,” Parker said. “Then, we design programs around that.”
BizEventz, a company in the Business Journal News Network, has announced the 2015 Healthy Workplace Awards finalists. This awards program recognizes organizations that are leading the way in adopting best practices to promote healthier workplaces and employees.
It's never too early to start thinking about how to help people in need this holiday season. Dome Donation Day serves as the ceremonial start of the Red Kettle Holiday Campaign for the Syracuse-area Salvation Army every year. The Orange will host Pittsburgh Saturday in the loud house with kickoff set for noon. Both TERACAI and CXtec will provide about 60 volunteers to ring bells and collect donations before the game beginning at 10 am. The local technology and support companies have been doing this annually for 18 years.
CenterState CEO today recognized 234 companies as 2015 Economic Champions for their collective hiring of 1,628 employees, nearly 1.8 million square feet of expansions, and more than $1 billion in capital investments. In keeping with this year’s theme, Celebrating CNY Business Legacy, 97 companies were also recognized for their enduring success.
