Provide a better experience for your patients

Healthcare facilities face numerous technical challenges. Federal EMR mandates dictate your technology usage, caregivers require mobility and instantaneous notifications, and you’re charged with keeping users trained on all devices and applications.

Stories from the field

Healthcare Facility Success Story - Virtualization

An upstate NY healthcare facility with multiple locations asked TERACAI to help manage their growing technology needs. As a non-profit, obtaining funding is as important as making the right technology investments, and they requested help with both.

The facility’s goals were simple: Create an investment strategy for storage, meet compliance requirements for security, and manage IT costs and resources. The two teams worked closely together, including feedback from multiple departments and locations, reviewing anticipated client expectations, and deploying best practices for compliance and virtualization.

Together, we were able to implement a server, storage, security, and desktop virtualization solution that was compliant with HIPAA laws and enabled the success of long-term business goals.

Healthcare Facility Success Story - Staging and Configuration

We recently did a core upgrade for a large health network with 7,000 employees, in three hospitals, two data centers and over 60 remote locations. Our clients wanted to stage and configure their new hardware before implementation.

TERACAI has its own area at our facility specifically designed to stage equipment in live network scenarios. Our expert technical service reps spent days with our clients testing their new gear across a network that we simulated to mirror the client’s network. This enabled them to completely stage and test the new cores without disruption of their production network.

The clients remarked that this “go-live” went smoother than any other core project they had done previously, thanks to the assistance of TERACAI. Their comfort level was high when they went live, and they saved a great deal of time by having far fewer issues during implementation.
